Properties

Common acne is a chronic and multifactorial skin condition. Its causes may include increased sebum production, hormonal imbalances, dietary factors—such as a high glycemic index diet and impaired glucose-insulin metabolism—stress, gut dysbiosis, and many others.

The Skin oil formula has been designed to comprehensively support the health of your skin from within. It works on multiple levels by combining:

  • Strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, thanks to the plant-based omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) from flaxseed and the thymoquinone content from black seed
  • Blood sugar-lowering effects and increased tissue insulin sensitivity
  • Sebum-thinning action, regulation of sebum production, and enhanced antibacterial potential — including against Propionibacterium acnes, responsible for acne development
  • Improvement of skin hydration and elasticity
  • Acceleration and enhancement of healing and regeneration processes

In every bottle of Skin oil, as much as half of the volume consists of evening primrose and hemp oils, natural sources of GLAknown for their wonderful properties supporting skin health and condition. The other half is anti-inflammatory powerhouse rich in plant-based omega-3 fatty acids (ALA) and supplemented with a potent antioxidant, which is thymoquinone.

The product is a blend of cold-pressed oils, which are highly susceptible to oxidation due to environmental factors such as temperature and sunlight.

Depending on the production batch, the oil may vary slightly in color, taste, and cloudiness.

Use only cold! Do not expose to heat. Store in a cool, dry, and dark place. Once opened, keep refrigerated to preserve its full properties and health benefits.

Ingredients

Flaxseed Oil

Flaxseed oil is rich in ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), an omega-3 fatty acid, making it the most abundant plant-based source of omega-3s.

Increased intake of omega-3 fatty acids relative to omega-6, and consequently a rise in EPA and DHA levels in the body, reduces the incidence of many chronic inflammatory diseases. These include, among others, PCOS and insulin resistance—conditions that frequently coexist with acne and contribute to its development.

Omega-3 fatty acids help regulate the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines, whose chronically elevated levels correlate with the worsening of skin lesions.

Evening Primrose Oil

Evening primrose oil is a rich source of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), which is one of the building blocks of phospholipid cell membranes. It plays a crucial role in repair processes and strengthens the skin barrier.

When used as a dietary ingredient, it penetrates the dermis, preventing excessive water loss and reinforcing the barrier against the penetration of bacteria, toxins, fungi, and allergens from the outside.

Scientific studies show that it is effective in the prevention and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, atopic dermatitis, allergies, atopic eczema, and psoriasis.

Evening primrose oil also has beneficial effects in premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

Evening primrose oil is an effective aid for weight loss, as GLA stimulates brown adipose tissue and increases the rate of metabolic processes, leading to fat burning.

Hemp Oil

Hemp oil contains tocopherols, phytosterols, carotenoids, polyphenols, phospholipids, and fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

The majority (about 70%) of sterols in hemp oil is β-sitosterol, which has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, it strengthens the skin’s lipid barrier, prevents excessive water loss, and improves hydration. It also promotes the activation of collagen and elastin synthesis in the skin, which are responsible for its elasticity and healing processes.

In addition to sterols, hemp oil contains polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants that inhibit the activity of free radicals responsible for damaging cell membranes and counteracting skin ageing.

Due to its composition, hemp oil can be utilised for therapeutic purposes. The endocannabinoid system, along with CB1 and CB2 receptors, has protective and supportive effects in inflammatory conditions associated with dermatoses such as psoriasis, acne, and atopic dermatitis (AD).

Black Seed Oil

The most valuable component of black seed oil is thymoquinonewhich plays an important role in neutralizing oxidative stress through its antioxidant properties. It protects organs from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

It helps lower fasting glucose levels as well as the insulin resistance index (HOMA). It also stimulates insulin production, reducing tissue insulin resistance, which is one of the main direct causes of acne.

Przez przypadek kupiłam mniejsza pojemność i 2 tygodnie później zamawiam większe! Przesyłka ekspresowa, piękne opakowanie i już widzę poprawę w mniejszej ilości sebum na twarzy.
